Seiffert Presents: 'Speed Up! Curves Ahead' at Semicon West 08
TIA President Grant Seiffert  delivered a keynote address at Semicon West 2008 in San Francisco today. During his presentation, “Speed Up! Curves Ahead,” Seiffert discussed  the ongoing evolution in wireless technology, including the latest trends and drivers in the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. Of critical importance, Seiffert noted, are the demands of the Millennial generation – born between 1982 and 2003. Millennials -- 75 million strong -- are the largest generation in U.S. history.

TIA and InfoComm Petition U.S. Green Building Council
Because of a joint interest in reducing the environmental impact of travel-related pollution, TIA and InfoComm sent a letter in June to the U.S. Green Building Council requesting LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) points for video conferencing.
